Barbara has always loved watercolor paintings;
however, until she retired she had little time to indulge her passion.
Now, she paints daily in her home studio or at the Sun City Grand Art
Studio. Shortly before retiring to Arizona, Barbara's mentor and teacher, Jean Webb, introduced her to soft pastels. The vibrant colors and ability to layer put pastels on an equal footing with watercolors as her choice of media. Barbara is a juried member of The Arizona Art Guild, The Arizona Art Alliance, and Vanguard Artists. She also is a member of the Arizona Pastel Artists Association, Arizona Watercolor Society, and the Sun City Grand Art Club.
